A little extra care goes a long way! Each Stash Spot piece is handmade using thoughtfully chosen fabrics. Following these care recommendations will help keep your little one’s clothing looking and feeling its best.
Everyday Washing
• Machine wash cold with like colors
• Use a mild, gentle detergent
• Wash garments inside out when possible
• Use a gentle or normal wash cycle
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners
Drying
For the longest life of your handmade pieces, hang drying is recommended.
If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat. High heat can cause shrinkage and may shorten the life of the fabric, prints, and finishes.
Natural Fibers
Natural fibers such as cotton and bamboo may experience some shrinkage, especially when exposed to heat. Washing in cold water and drying on low or hanging to dry will help minimize shrinkage.
Printed & Specialty Fabrics
Turning garments inside out before washing can help protect printed fabrics and decorative details from unnecessary friction and wear.
Hand-Dyed Items
Hand-dyed fabrics may release a small amount of excess color during the first few washes. Wash separately or with similar colors in cold water until you're confident the color is no longer transferring.
Stains Happen!
These clothes were made for real kids and real adventures. Treat stains as soon as possible with your preferred fabric-safe stain treatment. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage or discolor the fabric.
